Richard Saja is an artist making work in Catskill, New York. After studying surface design and philosophy, he founded Historically Inaccurate Decorative Arts. His work focuses on creating "interferences" of formal French toile patterns through embroidery. He has exhibited internationally in New York, Paris, London, Berlin, and South Korea, with work in the permanent collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

BFA in Painting with highest honors from University of Florida. His work is in permanent collections at Society of the Four Arts Museum (Palm Beach), Nike World Headquarters, and Armory Art Center. With a 30-year career spanning LA, NY, Miami, and Berlin, Wilcox has received top awards from prominent art world leaders including Ivan Karp and Richard Koshalek. He currently works between California and a remote island in North Central Florida.
