Ben
Lenovitz

Ben Lenovitz (b. 1991) is a painter, illustrator, sculptor, and designer from New York City. His work is shaped by a fondness for everyday absurdity, imagination, urban creatures, and the direct freedom of children’s art.

Across oil stick, acrylic, spray paint, drawing, and dimensional work, Lenovitz creates portraits and scenes populated by people, animals, robots, aliens, and figures that live somewhere in between. Saturated color, loose mark-making, and uncertain expressions give each work its own sense of humor and warmth.

His animal portraits bring the same attention to character and playfulness, finding personality in each subject without losing the spontaneity that makes the work feel alive.
